By Craig Klinski This January, PokerStars PA is back with its Winter Series, which last year rolled into Pennsylvania with $675k in prizes over 30 events. The 2021 PokerStars PA Winter Series outdoes that successful series with an ever bigger series — $1 million in guaranteed prizes over 45 events. The PokerStars PA Winter Series is only available to players in Pennsylvania, while the PokerStars NJ version of the festival is exclusively offered to New Jersey players. Both series run Jan. 21-31, and offer a combined $1.5 million in guaranteed prize pools.

Last year’s Winter Series proved to a huge success featuring a total of 30 events and offering $675,000 in total guarantees. The participating players ultimately walked away with over $828,000. That said, the 2021 PokerStars PA Winter Series is likely to be even more rewarding to all of the players who will be participating.

Onlinepoker traffic in Pennsylvania has been quite high in the Keystone State as well as other parts of the state since the pandemic hit and this is probably going to remain so for a while.
